I love this video the sound of waterfalls are very soothing to hear and I use it in my work office to study. Greatest gratitude for this video.
I took the Maid of the Mist trip where they bring you up in front of the falls on a boat. You stay quite a distance away but get close enough that you are getting misted on.
I thought it would be a silly tourist thing, but it was one of the most awesomely overwhelming things I have ever seen. The roar is so loud and physical that it just sort of kicks your senses into another level.
It's madness.

The best sleep I ever had was when I'd travelled all day to a hotel in the mountains, but hadn't booked in advance and it was full. I had no choice than to sleep in my car, opposite the entrance. After rolling the window down to get some airflow, I heard a waterfall close by. I slept for 10 straight hours. The best sleep ever and free.
So that's why I'm her.

This video proved INCREDIBLY useful during the first year+ of the pandemic, when I was stuck doing Zoom law school and my wife was stuck doing Zoom teaching, as we both were stuck in a studio apartment. The relaxing, consistent noise helped me block out myriad distractions. I am very grateful you posted this. The visuals are quite stunning too. If there is any chance anyone can identify exactly where this must have been filmed from, I would be very appreciative. After nearly three years of using this whenever I needed to block out noise, I'd love to someday go to Niagara and see this same view in person.

The first time I saw the Falls, I was 7. Mom was fom Buffalo so I had to see the Falls a few times a year while we visited her side of the family. The Niagara falls scare the piss out of me. I'm now 57 and they still scare me to death. The raw power, the sound, everything about it just scares me to death. I wouldn't even dip my toes in 10 miles upstream.
I've lived on the Gulf Coast my entire adult life. I sail and deep-sea fish in many conditions, am always cautious, but never afraid. I've even been at sea through hurricanes. Nothing scares me more than Niagara Falls. I can't explain this fear. Even this video scared me.
Can we all agree that the sound of waterfall is one of the best sounds ever, it's so relaxing and calming
