Aquascape Photography Techniques

A quick demonstration of some photography techniques used to enter your scape into aquascaping contests.

One of key elements are getting your fish schooling in an attractive formation. This involves spooking them to some degree and can take thousands of shots to get the right one.

Since it is always best to remove any equipment inside the aquarium, using a hairdryer pointed at the surface will also produce a very nice ripple effect in the photo.
