I use the 50mm 1.8 it's solid with my eos rp and an adapter it's 620 for that setup now I had a head start with lenses because I also have a 24-85 as I was using them on my film camera before investing in a digital

I mean, I got a used cannon rebel t-5 for $300 which included a few lenses and I pretty happy with it. The images are much better than on my own, although it is slow down when you take a bunch of photos in raw back to back. I have t cently gotten into film photography with the Olympus OM-G, it is nothing revolutionary it doesn't even have a traditional meter and I have taken some of my best photos on it yet. It is the photographer which makes a good photo.

For photography 500 is fine. Buy a canon 5d ii (200) and a sigma art prime lense

You’re the reason people are wasting their money on stupidly expensive camera bodies and having a shit kit lens to go with, please you guys buy a used dslr as a first camera and then dump all that money into lenses, atleast one prime and two zooms, like 18-55 or 18-105 or for wildlife go with the trusty 70-300 but with stabilization, that’s all i have to say and if u have any questions just reply to this comment 🫵🏼😁

What a crock shit. A 5d mark ii with a 50mm 1.8 will cost $500 and will blow any smart phone away.

You should have a million thumbs down on this video. I can get a five-hundred-dollar camera kit that will take way better pictures than any phone.

Photography is not about the equipment. It’s about the story you tell with it. What is the story you tell with the pictures you take? That could be on a 50-year-old camera, the quality can be awful but it all tells a story.

Just bought a Canon eos 750D wifi+nfc for 85.000huf~220usd with a 18-55 1:3.5-5.6 IS STM (plus tripod, 2 new battery, charger and a camera bag) and i rather use it than my s22 ultra bc of the interface and how well i can adjust everything.

This is completely false. You can get whatever is the equivalent to a modern Rebel and it will still look better than a cell phone camera. Cell phones take nice photos but they all look flat compared to larger sensor cameras.

i know this is extremely entry level but i got a nice deal on a Canon 4000D (Rebel T100) with the classic 18-55mm kit lens and also a portrait canon 50mm f1.8 lens on second hand market for like £230 and im soon going to get myself a nice midrange telephoto lens on top of that.

then the next upgrade will be a proper intermediate/pro camera and my dream telephoto and normal lenses

Can't dislike this video enough…You pose a question and don't answer it, you spend half the video unboxing and unwrapping something completely meaningless for the video. Finally, there are excellent camera/lens setups you can pick up for $500. Just last week I bought a Nikon D750 + 24-120mm F4 that I guarantee takes better shots than your smartphone.

Lumix g80/g85 or a G9 and literally any lens. Even the kit lens (14-45 from 2008) is decent. There is a plethora of lenses under $100.

In my book of cheap old DSLR cameras that I use for planespotting, $500 could get me 4 of my current main setup! (Nikon D3000 – $60 and Sigma DC 18-200mm – $74)
