This is a quick timelapse on aquarium preparation for shrimps, we will post the full video when editing is done. The process is simple, after adding the bactipowder under the substrate scaping with simple things wood specially and filling up with water. Since there are no shrimps yet we mix the minerals directly in the tank and we add all of our powdered food to boos the production of the biofilm and create a good environment for the bacteria to grow and help the nitrification cycle. After a week or so, we test the water to make sure all parameters are maintained and when this balance is attained it will be time to to introduce the caridina shrimp.

Our Fish and Shrimp Keeping Tutorials are based on our DIY experience keeping aquariums with tropical fish, shrimp, and other freshwater or saltwater livestock.
We have mostly freshwater aquarium setup, shrimp keeping and breeding experience, and we have recently started with saltwater aquarium setup.
During aquarium maintenance sessions or while aqua scaping a nano tank, shots were taken in real time or time-lapse with phone or action cameras. Those are some DIY aquarium hobby daily routine ideas for planted tanks, reef tanks, and freshwater aquariums that we and you can use.
