I love community aquariums, it allows us to explore which fish will live together. Through trial and error some of the most fun I’ve ever had with aquariums comes from experiment of will these fish live together?

I’ve seen how my boxes show up just ordering easy green. I could only imagine how they would look and sound when I shake them with an aquarium inside.😂

    Some interesting comments here- !
Ages ago I read about fishermen putting a drop or two of hydrogen peroxide in their live bait bucket, to keep the minnows alive. I will admit that I did this when transporting goldfish, many moons ago. I never lost any in the immediate aftermath. (Google AI says yes, hydrogen peroxide breaks down into oxygen gas!) Is this something our hobby could adopt? (I just finished watching your Q&A about fish dying on the way home from the pet store)

Are you really talking about "how nice his wood pile" is…?! And then, talk about how you enjoy touching, feeling, and rubbing that wood…?!? Hilarious…! Context is everything, because my neighbor walked in as you were saying those words…!?! Hahaha, Hilarious…!

One of the problems with Google search now is that the first page is normally all paid for ads. Google is a business that has to make money. But it also makes it suck.

I use the oral syringe with the bottle 'cork' from CVS, but I've bought quite a few different ones in Sarasota, Florida and the CVS ones are the best…! I also bought a few API products just for their bottle caps…! They're the greatest bottle caps on the market…! I hope y'all start using those style caps on the easy green, but currently, I use the CVS oral syringe method… There may be something on the jungle site, or the other alphabet sites, but I wouldn't know… I have never bought anything online, nor do I shop online, with Aquarium Co-op being the only exception…! Before I found, and started ordering from Aquarium Co-op, I had never bought anything online… And, although I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida and not Missouri, I'm a "show me" kind of guy…!!! I gotta see it before I give my money for anything… Anyway, thanks for sharing… Keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today…! And everyday…!! Also, don't forget to compliment someone today… It just may change their day for the better…!

I planted a tank in the backyard and watered it every day. I hoped one day that tank would grow to be an aquarium tree.

The tank looks far less “cloudy” with less light. I’m running my coop light at 30 percent on a 21 inch deep tank.

I agree with more shrimp content please! and shrimps can be a good community tank addition. The different varieties of neocardina shrimp, what breeding looks like… what having them in a community tank looks like. will they breed with certain fish in the tank… and i don't necessarily crave expert opinion just a voice of someone i have followed for years as opposed to searching it out

In my more than 50 tanks, I've noticed that the ones with corydoras have fewer(maybe none)planeria than tanks without… They also eat leeches… I had some leeches a few months ago and I've found that corydoras love leeches…!

I've noticed on my Facebook aquarium group at least 2 people very recently have been under the impression that adding baking soda will lower their already very high pH. (It increases it for anyone who doesn't know)

It's because the damn AI overview says that and comes up first when people search. So misleading as every other page after that will tell you it increases it so dunno where the AI even got that from

Regarding the question you want to start asking customers… When I worked at Apple (circa 2013), every customer received a survey with just one question: “on a scale of 1-10, how likely would you be to recommend Apple products and services to a friend or family member?” Anyone who responded with less than a 7 received a follow up. The short survey = more responses and somehow, the broad question tells you the most important info you need to know.

We have some cherry shrimp and blue dream shrimps in our 10 gallon tank. They have gone crazy making shrimplets! 😂 it’s fun to watch, but the tank may become too crowded. I called the guy we bought them from for advice. He has a cute small business called Joe’s Shrimp Shack. He said if it gets out of hand we can bring some to him. He keeps a tank in his back room for “extra” shrimps. He donates them to teachers to have in their classrooms. Isn’t that nice?
