At the request of Mark, I went back to take some pictures with the lens kit. This time around I tightened the filter lens a too tight and when I was removing it, I discovered that the macro lens is a separate lens that is mounted to the wide-angle lens. I went ahead and tested out the macro lens and notice that it does a decent job of taking close up pictures. The one caveat is that you’ll need to be 1-2 in from the coral because it will be difficult for the camera to focus otherwise. Watch the video for the filtered images and macro shots!

Yes. These make a big difference with our phone pics. The only thing i don't like is that the clip seems to be made more for a iPhone or a phone with the straight line of lenses. Ive been thinking of instead getting thr polyp lab one.
Thanks a lot for doing that. I am always interested in how online retailers get such amazing sps shots, then when I get the coral in my tank they don't look the same. This seems especially true with filter shots as they are described on most websites. Good retailers should provide at least a daylight and a filter to accurately portray the coral. I appreciate different lights will cause different colours to pop, but hope photo shopping is not going on. Do you have an opinion on this?
