What is your camera's shutter speed limit for flash sync

A cable release woud make your shooting easier. Karch always used a cable release.

Not one of your best videos, the shots were not that eye catching. The ones using the cameras own flash were really bad IMHO.

Excellent demonstration
I got the intention of the video showing different ideas, and how they were made, but I agree with some comments below, the quality of the photos are not really nice, or at least not good enough to represent Adorama… And yes, I can't find the sense using 1/1200th, you have to use more power on the flash and that means more flash duration, wich is not ideal to freeze the scene. Again good video for take new ideas.

Mark, thanks for the tutorial. I used it as a basis for my multi flash photographs. I've uploaded then to the Adorama group on Flickr.
I would be interested in seeing you do a multi flash episode, just to see what tips and tricks you have.
Why did you swt FP mode HSS if your speedlights have much faster flash duration speed without it. Set them to 1/16 power and cameea say 1/160s and you will nicely freeze the action.

Another BIG tip is to use RODI or Distilled water. It makes a BIG difference in clarity. Yet another one that will give you even better shots is to use Starphire (low iron) glass aquarium. It is more expensive, but things look crystal clear & as if they are floating in the air.

Is it just me ??? I found out the pictures a bit low quality. Not sure why did you set for Hss I would rather set them for 1/8 power and the final flash duration is much faster and you can froze the motion. Your pictures are very blurry !

Thats the easier way: the less power the flashes are switched to, the shorter the light comes out. 1/20000 is possible! And even with a shutterspeed of a full second, the motion would be frozen.
