I’ll come back 12 years later and say this is better than his new version under led. Look at all the top tanks from the halide years and you’ll see a richness to the colour and health. Sps grew far back then.
Steady as she goes. …..thank you
This is amazing. No matter how stressful your life may be, coming home to this would just lift your spirits no end. It's breathtaking, I'd love to see it in real life.
HALLO OLD CUSTOMER
Simply stunning !!
How many gallons is that tank
The glass is cleaned using various cleaning tools including our D-D bladed Magnetic cleaner and the pumps are cleaned and soaked in D-D EzeClean solution to keep them running in tip top condition More info can be found on the D-D theaquariumsolution website
How u clean it?
how much is this worth ……. best tank i have ever seen
very very nice
i love tangs
AMAZING
Wow
These are the Xanthichthys trigger family, they are mainly planktivorous in the wild and rerasonably shy and mellow. They dont touch corals in the main or other fish except very small fish that get confused for prey. Check out the following triggers of the family, Crosshatch,blue chin,Sargassum,Golden back to name a few reef safe triggers of the family.
How you got trigger fish in tank. Thought they would eat corals.
pulsing xenia
Hi
This is a pulsing xenia, believe it or not this can grow to plague proportions in some reef tanks and can actually become a pest allbeit a beautiful one.
@AmandaPayneTv The display is around 1,200 UK gallons/5455 L and the system is around 3500 UK gallons or 16000L in this video
yo this reef is bad ass…. I watched the other one also.. Keep it going great video
this is the nicest i have seen so far, i rate this a 10 out of 10.
Hi
Yes as we are trying to replicate a reef enviroment as apposed to a fresh water system. In tank circulation should replicate wave action for the most part but with diffuse flow.
@firion03
Hi The coral is a caribbean photosynthetic gorgonian, possibly Plexaurella sp.
@tipitye
The is a write up on the , theaquariumsolution website under articles , page 3 , technical review of David Saxby's aquarium. This sets out system design etc.
Is there a website that documents this tank
$50 plus grand EASY!!
Im not sure you could put a price on such an aquarium and thing of beauty.
David's tank was over hauled in 2009 so you may want to take a look at his video 'David Saxby 2009' David changed his stocking towards LPS and SPS, he also altered his fish stocking for more shoaling fish as it looked far more natural among the sps coral.
This is simple beautiful!!! Makes me forget about all the stupid problems in the word, politics, religion, war, everything!! So calming!! That is why i want and Aquarium so badly! But dont ya think the space is a little too small lol!! You have so many fish!! But still, beautiful!! May i ask, how much did all of this cost, the fish, plants and all!! I'm just curious! 😀
you have so many rare fish in there! some ive never seen in my life. even diving in alot of reefs im very very impressed. some even seem to be cross bred

It is soo obvious this is just the window on an underwater house…
I have never seen so many fish in one tank before. it is incredible.
Amazing tank. I can't wait to see the 2009 update.
seems like I am the first viewer so I might as well be the first to leave a comment. Very nice aquarium, you have about 10,000 dollars worth of fish in that tank. Gool luck with your tank.
