Really happy you guys are doing a Dutch Aquascape as this is my favorite style! I love your channel and content. One comment I would add here would be that there needs to be a little more space between the bunches of plants. A great dutch scape has empty space between each plant grouping. This adds to the orderly look and creates more visual interest between groupings. I think this tank does a wonderful job at balancing the reds (it can be so tempting to add too much red).
15 years ago my journey into reef keeping started with ADA style amaro tanks, im just about to start a new 4ft tank and im going a dutch style tank. These videos are an inspiration to return to my aquarium roots.

I will be pruning tomorrow. It has grown too much for me. I wonder whether to prune like you do, or take out all the plants and plant only the tops. What would you advise?

In the speedup of the film, it seemed like you were just going at it like a mower. Just shaving it all down willy-nilly.
