Video helped me a lot. Got a d3200 a week ago and have been beating it against my head mostly. Helps to have a point of reference for what Ive been doing wrong and rite. Will be looking up a flash for sure. What's your thoughts on a micro lense….or is that the same as a prime lens.

Finally got a chance to sit down and watch this all the way through. I know how much time it must have taken to create, so kudos for that. I found it to be really helpful and I know others will too.
I need to invest in one of those external flashes and/or a better lens. I've just been using the one that came with my D3200 and while I don't hate my shots, I need to step it up at some point. I also need to experiment with my settings.
Btw love the fish prop and the music at the end was great.
