I love your channel and can't believe you were at ADG! Not sure how I missed this vid but Mike custom built my 280 gal reef tank. I live in Houston and have been their customer for years. They would let us hold Houston reef society meetings at their store back in the day. Jeff is right. Saltwater is easier than planted fresh now. I've had reef tanks for decades and failed miserably at a planted fresh LOL!!!! Wish I could have done the meet and greet 2 years back.

I cannot stand fancy goldfish, they are to the fish world the equivalent of the worst breeds in the dog world, unhealthy, silly shaped animals that can barely move properly, and struggle their whole lives.
is there a place like this in the DFW area?
I made the mistake of setting up a planted aquarium and introduced goldfish. Holy moly! The tank was destroyed, every plant destroyed, pebbles move and every grain of sand sifted. Never again!

MD- greetings from USA. I have tried the open top tank several times with my angelfish and tetras and they always jump out of my tank and then I find them dead on the floor. There really is no traffic where my tank is located. Do you ever loose jumper fish yourself?

That Tanganyikan fish was Callochromis pleurospilus, I believe!
