Great job, this video was very useful!
South American biotope with SAEs, white sand no botanicals or blackwater? Come on now
I don't buy this golden ratio thing that much. I find it overestimated.
Not big of deal. It's just a european cultural concept, not universal rule.
Where is your store located

All of that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters – to enjoy aquascape that you created, whenether it has or no all that lines, triangles etc…
Thank you for this inspirational video! Great again..! BUT… what if the tank is a cube and visible from 3 sides… Which composition to use then? The one that is obvious is the island composition… Any other suggestions?
Also, I consider aquascaping to be more difficult in such a case, as it is then difficult to balance golden ratio from different sides… Any examples on how to handle such cases would be very appreciated! 🙂
Aquascaping like this is not for me. I want a little bit of everything hardscape wise to promote biodiversity among other things. The way everything is neatly planted in layers and groups also look highly unnatural, there is very rarely any order like this in nature. Nature is chaos.
Still a very interesting video.
We will never get a black water style or acknowledgement from green aqua 😅
I really enjoyed the video.
Question. Are you calling the golden ratio point where the horizontal and vertical lines intersect or where the endpoint of the Fibonacci spiral is?
Sick intro music bruv
what's it called when you get like BURSTING sticks coming from one main side going diagonally up with one side being more open?
This was a great watch but I actually disagree on some of the tanks were you complained about them being too empty in the top part. Negative space is an important part of art, espacially trying to achieve a minimalist picture composition, and should be something used more often in aquascaping if you ask me! Leaving the top third or even the top two thirds mostly empty can be quite striking if done correctly.
As a musician who just started this aquascape hobby, I think aquascape is the same as any other art. If you are just starting out, don't improvise too much, just copy your idol's art and adjust it little by little according to your style and ideas. Any art requires a lot of practice time and lots of trial and error. You can't be a god on the first day. 😂
Very nice point from Masashi Ono-san regarding adding the rock between the two islands at 24:13. Very dialectical: one divides into two!
Adding the rock would make that tank design too symmetrical.
Wow great guide 1. I agree! The rock would be a bad idea with the contrasting styles being joined. 2 absolute fountain of knowledge can’t wait to mess with my tank and find my composition. 3. I’m going to try and find a course. (Hopefully one ran by you)I would love to learn more as I’m starting what feels like the beginning of a very Long journey! Great content though! You mentioned it briefly a tank with 360 viewing and how that composition is different. I ask because I have a 110 gallon tub fitted on a large table so the view is like a 45 degree angle from almost all sides! It seems like I dove straight into the deep end on difficulty! Like you said some people are just more natural and I realized I ain’t one of em.
What about Gangnam style?
This is the best Aquascape video ive ever seen and trust me boys, ive seen tons of em
RESPECT SIR
16:54 the best ex of golden ratio
Bro can you makes video aquascape for big fish like emperor snakehead?
Whatever aquascape style is done that should be done in a natural style so that it would look more natural and not a man made desgin..else It would never look natural. Whatever you are measuring the center point and the ratio and that v shape and all that blah blah doesn't make sense THE BOTTOM LINE IS IT SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE MAN MADE 👍🏻
What is creativity in the absence of influence ?
One thing I’m realizing watching this video is that in aquascaping, negative space doesn’t necessarily mean empty space and that lighting plays a huge role.
Taking all the inspiration from this post
Very instructive video! I learned that, while I might have started with island composition tanks, they are my least favorite of the composition styles. I'm excited to get back into the aquarium hobby with all this information!
That was good 😮
Can you please do an updated training video with a tank and hard scape ??? I love them
Спасибо ребята! Ваши видео вдохновляют и успокаивают в эти непростые времена
great video and i love this channel, watching and rewatching all the episodes. love the explanation and it's inspired me to start up a new aquascape! thanks for this!
It's amazing, wish everyone who sees this comment good health and happiness

Wilson 😁 a hope for live.. ❤️
i watched that video min. 5 times. Thanks a lot
Thanks for the video ! Marry Christmas.
Wanted to build a aquascape cave using black natural slate. After working with the slate for a couple days outside the tank, discovered my idea will not work. Lost my vision. I wanted height with shadows. The many examples you shared are sure to get me back on track…
I build my tank and found this video after the fact 😭 lol
But I realized I unintentionally followed that spirally rule of thirds, and made a v composition 😆 yay!
Dude should have a master class
I miss amano san natural zen style
Is there a video demonstrating how to deal with a very overgrown scape?
Very inspiring video with great information. I have had a 20 gallon for a few years but I just bought a 55 gallon and I am excited to design a scape for it using this information.
These videos are very calming, until the adds in the middle of the video kick in…
Hi Team Green Aqua. Videos are great, keep them coming. Have you ever demonstrated a peninsula style aquascape? Thanks.
