Japan’s largest aquarium showcased Mermaid Melissa live on New Years Eve on TV swimming with sharks while interacting with the show host and performing tricks for the excited children at the viewing windows watched by over 13 million viewers.
Queensland Australia featured Mermaid Melissa across a wide range of press, including commercials, magazines, newspapers, live appearances swimming in a huge aquarium open to the public seen by thousands. A documentary style underwater footage series was captured of her swimming with manta rays, whale sharks, sea turtles, and the vast beauty of the coral surrounding the southern great barrier reef.
Melissa has worked hands on with killer whales, dolphins, sharks, stingrays, and a diverse range of marine life throughout her life.
