Is it a pain to remove the acrylic from the overflow?
What is the skilmer for this tank ?
Should get some dendros growing on the bottom, don't need the light and would hide the plastic

Its it not healthier to have at least 1 rock that touches base in order to allow access to non swimming members of the clean up crew?
