Did you add another light?
In nano tanks, using sand isn't as effective as having a bare bottom. Sand can trap a significant amount of harmful substances. Additionally, it's not a natural setting. While beaches are sandy, the areas in the ocean where Clownfish, corals, and anemones thrive lack a sand substrate.
Mannnnn, you should know bettas prefer like 5 gallon or more. I know they live in puddles, but stilllll

Like every hobby in life people will chime in on how you can build and buy something bigger and better but as a newbie I love this idea to learn and get started. I am going to order one and use it as a fun learning experience this summer with my children. Beautiful little tank!
What an awesome saltwater aquarium kit.
Some dry ass sand…for 600 you could've got at least a 50g with everything needed
I like to add a thin layer of substrate before so the rocks don’t move around then add the rest later
Is there a reason why you can't put rock up against the glass?
Is that a temp tank for the betta?
