I had my goby for two weeks before I got my shrimp. When I put my shrimp in, he swan to the bottom and just sat there. The morning after adding my shrimp they had already paired up.

Mine paired instantly, after temp acclimation, added them to a Tupperware together until I found my gravel vac tube and put them both in the display with the vacuum tube

Ah yes the Pistol shrimp, capable of disrupting sonar and hiding subs. Seriously, colonies of these buggers caused issues for the Navy during WWII.

Just added my tiger pistol into my 55gal yesterday. My goby (karen) took her time slowly coming over but then it was love at first sight lol. Its so awesome, also the aparantly give off pharamones that attract them to eachother too!

oh man why did this make me think it would make a sick design concept for like a video game or an anime or something. Main character guy with a powerful mid-range weapon, and like a floating spotter guy that kind of hovers around him at all times

Use a clear tube. Put the pistol shrimp down the tube to where the gobi is. Or put the gobi in the tube , lower him down to where the pistol shrimps hole is. But you should've done that before you put them both in

Don’t worry! I have a 29 gal and got one of each of those guys a few weeks ago, and after some time you will see them together, took mine about 2-4 days If I remember
