In this episode, Andrea and I venture inside one of the craziest places we’ve ever set foot in.
A 14 billion dollar megaproject in China which got abandoned during the COVID-19 pandemic. This 12km2 / 6,5 mi2
abandoned city features 23 hotels, 200 hotsprings, waterparks, a theme park, a circus and much much more.
In this episode we venture into one of the indoor water parks, which is likely the largest in the world.
This turned out to be a crazy urbex adventure!

There is us, paying tax after tax after tax to keep the enviroment good. And we want to build 1 small building and it needs to go through tons of paperwork and even more tax because of the enviroment. And then there is this.. China is totally crazy man… What a waste for the planet.
BackRooms…….
What an incredible place. It's a shame it's abandoned and it's sad to see the dead dog. Be careful in China though, you don't want to be arrested there
It looks awesome
wow so sad to see this would have been fun to visit when it was open
warining! dead animal at 15:03 to 15:06 skip that part if u don't ana see a dead animal
Whiteout you guys will be impossible to see this places and past inside our planet every site is humongous 🎉😢
Amazing 🎉🎉🎉
I'm a littlebit perlexed how much space is "not used" for the attractions / pools / decostuff / bars etc. It seems like they build huge halls but didn't had enough money and/or ideas to fill them.
How the f way did this all get abandoned??😳
What a waste of FUCKING TIME AND RESOURCES IF THAT PLACE DOES NOT REOPEN I WILL GO FUCKING NUTS NO WONDER THIS WORLD IS FUCKING SCREWED
Great video but the deceased dog could have been blurred or edited out. No need to see that.
I'd imagine crazy battles happening there in 2077 like in Cyberpunk's Dog Town that was a ghost town with no chance to enter before the update.
O M G. The size of this place. What a waste. You would think that sooner or later they would learn not to start this massively. Start smaller and see if it works. But no.
China: "Let's build that solely for Exploring the Unbeaten Path..!"
you never mention the country.
Was that seriously a dead dog? How could that have happened? It couldn't find it's way out?
When did this water park close ? It’s insane !! What’s the back story
Bob when are you to getting married?
PONGAN PISTA DE AUDIO EN ESPAÑOL
Can you just drive there as a tourist or Chinese citizen and start to film or do you need a special permit from the government?
You guys should bring e-bikes or rollerblades to places like this. XD
I find these constructions impressive in a depressing way. This is not something to be emulated by anyone sane. These serve as an example of pompous ego and the sad truth about mankind wasting resources and taking them for granted.
Nothing original. This is typical Chinese MO. They copy and reverse engineer because they can't create from scratch. This is all the same footprint and decor you see in Niagara waterparks, Disney World and Las Vegas hotels..The difference is that took it to the next level. What a waste…$14B just sitting there instead of being invested where it matters.
Why are you whispering to each other when you're alone ?
I really hope this will be reopened someday or else this is really a waste of time, money and resources. I'm amazed of the scale of this construction and all of it surroundings. What a shame.
CHINA a toothless tiger! their only strength is in numbers.Another Mao will reduce that. I guess were all in the same boat. diversity is OUR strength.
why don't all those refugees going to europe go to china there is enough space and housing
Hey Bob,,Parts of this video were shown on the VTM news and they also mentioned you,,,cool he .
15:03 wth is that yall?!?!
Imagine the build quality of this thing. It is left for 6 years and it looks like nature is already reclaimed it.
Was actually enjoying this until the dead puppy was shown. Definitely not watching this channel anymore to relax. Obviously you’ll find those things when exploring but didn’t think it would pop up on screen. Don’t want to be surprised by it again on other videos. Cheers, be well all.
What even IS this place? I can't imagine it'd be hidden from the public at that scale, so it certainly couldn't have just went under the radar…
Warum kann man diesen Park nicht einfach weiter nutzen?
The amount of employees required to run that place would be up there.
thanks video
What a grotesque waste of resources
The place looks empty, bit deceptive
Is that a dead dog?😢💔
This is absolutely amazing. Amazing
Leuk maatje en tof jullie samen te zien
Its radioactive – 🙂
All that smooth concrete and tile in a water park seems like a lot of busted asses.
Be careful if you go back I'm sure someone in the government has seen this now
The corn in middle of the road was so weird. That wasn't growing.
This should not be aloud to show dead animal especially dog and might be cat that they said it cat that crazy the video should be good but it bad because the dead dog been show not be sensitive mode on many people dont want see dog get rotten away cat ?
The corn should be drying on the roofs , atleast there the stray dogs and cats keep out of it
